How the course works
30 hours Drivers Education Online Course approved by California DMV – This course is divided into 10 units, with each unit containing its own quiz. You will have to get at least an 80% on the quiz in order to move on to the next unit. Once you have completed all of the units, you will receive your Certificate of Completion!

In July 1998, California enacted the Graduated Driver License (GDL) law to reduce car accidents involving teenage drivers and passengers. This law introduced significant changes to the licensing process for young drivers.
California’s GDL legislation follows a two-stage process to ensure safe and responsible driving. It begins with the completion of a Driver’s Education Course, a prerequisite for obtaining a Provisional Learner’s Permit. Next, aspiring drivers must complete a 6-hour Behind the Wheel training program and undergo a 6-month practice period before becoming eligible for a full driver’s license.
